Gnocchetti Sardi n.27 with broccoli and bacon

 
PREPARATION

INGREDIENTS:

  • Broccoli florets  
  • Slices of bacon of 1 cm  
  • Onion  
  • Salt to taste  
  • Pepper to taste  
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste  
  • Olio Extravergine d'oliva  

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut the florets of broccoli in pieces (more or less the same size of the pasta) cook the Gnocchetti Sardi 27 La Molisana in plenty of salted water. Make sure that the cooking times are the same. Meantime cut the bacon in dices and chop the onion.

Put everything in a pan brown the bacon at medium heat, be careful that the onion does not burn. Transfer the Gnocchetti Sardi 27 La Molisana and the broccoli in the pan with the bacon and the onion finish cooking for a few minutes, adding some cooking water set aside. Make sure that the pasta blends well with all the ingredients.

When cooked set aside for a few minutes and serve with a drop of extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkling of pepper.
