Maccheroni n.37 with pepper ,anchovies and provolone

 
PREPARATION

INGREDIENTS:

  • Maccheroni n.37 La Molisana  
  • Provolone  
  • Bread  
  • Grated Pecorino Cheese  
  • Tin anchovies  
  • Clove of garlic  
  • Red pepper  
  • Salt to taste  
  • Salt to taste Ground black pepper to taste  
  • Parsley to taste  
  • Extra virgin olive to taste  

INSTRUCTIONS:

Bring to boil plenty of water for the pasta (salt when it starts boiling). Meantime heat up a frying pan. When hot, add a small quantity of extra virgin olive oil. Add the clove of garlic until golden brown. Add the pepper cut in thin strips. Add some salt and cook for about 5 minutes. Meantime reduce the bread into a small crumbs.

Mix with the pecorino cheese sprinkle with black pepper. Pour over peppers and cook until lightly browned. Drain the Maccheroni 37 La Molisana and pour in saucepan. Add the anchovies cut in pieces and the diced provolone. Cover with a lid and simmer for a few minutes.

Complete with fresh minced parsley.
