Paccheri n.316 with provolone cheese, tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella from Campania

 
PREPARATION

INGREDIENTS:

  • Cherry tomatoes   320g
  • Buffalo mozzarella from Campania   800g
  • Grated provolone cheese   400g
  • Clove of garlic   100g
  • Little onion   n.1
  • Fresh basil to taste   n.1
  • Salt to taste   qb
  • Pepper to taste   qb
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste   qb
  • Olio extravergine d'oliva   qb

INSTRUCTIONS:

Slightly cook the cherry tomatoes in boiling water for about 30 seconds. Drain them and remove skin and seeds.

Brown in a pan the chopped onion and the garlic. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook over low heat for about 6 minutes. Flavor with a pinch of salt and add some fresh basil leaves.

Cook Paccheri 316 La Molisana in plenty of water and, once drained, combine it with the tomato sauce. Makes well and add the diced buffalo mozzarella.

Complete with grated provolone cheese and serve with some more fresh basil leaves.
