Elicoidali with bacon and Sicilian broccoli

 
PREPARATION

INGREDIENTS:

  • Sicilian broccoli  
  • Bacon  
  • Roman pecorino cheese  
  • Pepper to taste  
  • Pepe  

INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash and chop the broccoli removing the stem with a potato peeler. Put the broccoli in a pot with cold water and boil. Cut the stem in dices, then chop the bacon and put it in a warm pan, without adding oil.

Cook until the bacon melts and then add the chopped stem. Cook for about two minutes.

When the water with the broccoli boils, salt and add the pasta. Drain the pasta al dente and pour in the pan with the bacon. Whisk spilling a ladle of the cooking water if needed, the grated pecorino cheese and the black pepper, serve.
