Farfalle Rigate n.66 with red beet cream, walnuts and toasted sesame seeds

INGREDIENTS:

  • Precooked red beets   320g
  • Full tablespoons of sesame seeds   n.5
  • Shelled walnuts   n. 2
  • Salt to taste   n. 9
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste   qb
  • Olio extravergine di oliva   qb

INSTRUCTIONS:

Bring to boil plenty of salted water and cook the paste the time required.

Meantime blend the red beets cut into pieces with a blender until creamy. Toast the sesame seeds in a frying pan, without adding anything, for about three minutes and set aside.

When the pasta is cooked add it in the pan with the sesame seeds and the beet cream mix well until the pasta becomes red. Add a little oil and some water set aside to mix well garnish with little oil, chopped walnuts and toasted sesame seeds.
