Farfalle rigate 66 La Molisana with mandarin oranges, almonds and honey

INGREDIENTS:

  • Farfalle Rigate n.66 La Molisana  
  • Grated fine goat cheese  
  • Almonds  
  • Mandarins  
  • Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil  
  • Tablespoons of honey  
  • Clove of garlic  
  • Salt  
  • Pepper  

INSTRUCTIONS:

Heat the extra virgin olive oil with the garlic clove. Add mandarins previously peeled and cut into chunks.

 

Cook the mixture until it acquires the consistency of a sauce.  Add salt and pepper to taste. Turn off and blend it with the mixer. In a separate saucepan toast the chopped almonds and add the honey.

 

Cook the Farfalle Rigate 66 La Molisana in a plenty of boiling salted water, drain al dente and season with the sauce. Put on the plate an abundant portion of sauce and place the pasta on the top.

 

Complete with almonds, honey and a sprinkle of grated goat cheese.
