Amatrice style smooth Penne Lisce n.18



  • Penne Lisce 18 La Molisana   320g
  • Seasoned pork cheek   300g
  • Clean white onion   80g
  • Extra-virgin olive oil  
  • White wine   25g
  • Grated Pecorino romano cheese   50g
  • Parsley   1 bunch

In a saucepan warm up the olive oil, add the thinly cut onion and the pork cheek cut into strips. Let them brown, wet with the white wine and let it cook for another few minutes. Add the salt.

In boiling salted water cook the Penne Lisce 18, drain and pour them into the saucepan with the sauce.

Mix it all well and add the chopped parsley, a drizzle of olive oil and the grated pecorino.
