Caribbean Spaghetto Quadrato1

INGREDIENTS:

  • Spaghetto Quadrato n.1 La Molisana   320g
  • Coconut milk   1 can
  • Lime   1 pc
  • Leek   1 pc
  • Aniseed   1 tablespoon
  • Allspice berries   5-6 pcs
  • Extra virgin olive oil   to taste
  • Pepper   to taste
  • Pepper from Guatemala   to taste
  • Pepper from Sichuan   to taste
  • Salt   to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

Finely chop the leek. Add the olive oil into a frying pan, fry the slices until they are golden and crispy. Add the juice of a lime and the aniseeds, the allspice berries, ground pepper from Guatemala, ground pepper from Sichuan.

Cover with coconut milk and cook until the liquid will be reduced. Add salt and pepper.

In boiling salted water cook the Spaghetto Quadrato® 1, drain when al dente and stir inthe sauce. Serve and garnish with some leaves of fresh mint, add some aniseeds and sprinkle with ground pepper.
