Spaghetto Quadrato 1 Flavored with Dark beer and Crispy Guanciale

INGREDIENTS:

  • Spaghetto Quadrato n.1 La Molisana   320g
  • Cured pork cheeks (guanciale)   300g
  • Butter   60g
  • Onion   1 pc
  • Cream sauce   1 pk
  • Dark beer   1 glass
  • Chive to taste   to taste
  • Salt   to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

Slice the onion finely diced. Cut the guanciale into small cubes.

Melt the butter in a wok, on a low heat. Add the onions and the guanciale and cook for about five minutes until the onions are tender and the pork is crisp.

Pour a glass of dark beer and let evaporate until almost absorbed. Add half a glass of water and cook. When the sauce will be thick, add the cream sauce.

In boiling salted water cook the Spaghetto Quadrato® 1, drain when al dente and stir in the sauce and garnish with chive.
