Spaghetto Quadrato 1 Rancetto

INGREDIENTS:

  • Spaghetto Quadrato n.1 La Molisana   320g
  • Tomato sauce   300g
  • Cured pork cheeks aka" Guanciale"   150g
  • Onion   30g
  • Fresh marjoram   to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil   to taste
  • Pecorino (Italian cheese)   to taste
  • Salt and pepper   to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut the onion into slices, put it in a large skillet with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and sauté for five minutes. Add the guanciale and cook for another ten minutes. Include the tomato sauce and salt, and cook for another 15 minutes. Finally add the marjoram.

In boiling salted water cook the Spaghetto Quadrato® 1 drain when al dente and stir in the sauce over high heat for few minutes. Complete adding a plenty of grated cheese. Finally serve and garnish with marjoram.
