Ziti Campani n.8 with Christmas Eve sauce

 
PREPARATION

INGREDIENTS:

  • Ziti campani n.8 La Molisana   320g
  • Salted anchovies   8 pieces
  • Bread crumbs   8 tablespoons
  • Extra-virgin olive oil   to taste
  • Chili powder   1 teaspoon
  • Garlic cloves   2 pieces
  • Salt   to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a pan fry the garlic in the olive oil and when it is well browned remove it. Add the anchiovies, previously washed and filleted and allow them to break down.

In another pan, toast the bread crumbs in the olive oil and add the chili powder. Add salt.

In boiling salted water cook the Ziti Campani 8 in abundant slightly salted water, drain al dente. Toss the pasta in the pan with the anchovy sauce and the toasted bread crumbs.
