DISCOVER THE TASTE
To obtain a product that retains all the properties of fresh tomatoes, we use only oblong Apulian varieties cultivated at sea level, harvested in season and processed in a continuous cycle day.
Carefully deprived of skin through several steps, including optical sorter and manual sorting, our peeled tomatoes are immersed in a creamy juice and characterized by bright red color and genuine scent. Its delicate flavor makes it ideal for preparations such as full-bodied "Sunday Sauce" or a tasty pizza dressing.
Our cherry tomatoes are rustic product, whose plant grows in the heart of Tavoliere delle Puglie in extreme wheater conditions, have a red-orange color, small round and firm fruits and a strong flavor with intense notes.
After a long cleaning process they are dipped in a delicate "long" tomato juice, useful to dampen and sweeten the sour note of cherry, thus creating a perfect balance of flavors. Due to these characteristics, the tomatoes are perfect for quick preparations, wich require short cooking times and need a strong flavor, such as first courses of fish or a base to accompany legume dishes.
The added value of our chopped tornato sauce is in scrupulous selection of raw material: fine oblong tomatoes typical of Apulia with a more delicate, sweet and refined taste. Another plus is in the processing: in addition to the careful cleaning process - carried out through several steps - the draining allows to obtain a fruit without seeds or peels, with a homogeneous consistency characterized by evident pieces that are not lost in juice.
It is a product with an important pulp, quick to cook, perfect both for a plate of spaghetti at last minute and for sauce of a tasty pizzaiola.
The tomatoes from our Passata Rustica are arriving from the Ferrara area. Selected with scanning cameras and with manual sorting, carefully peeled, they are then passed through the sieves, cooked and ready to be bottled.
Thanks to this rapidity we manage to retain in the product all the freshness of freshly picked tomato.
Our Passata Classica comes from native seeds of Emilia Romagna, cultivated with sustainable agricultural practices in fields located 50 km away from processing plants.
The fruits are rounded, red and fleshy, characterized by an excellent brix that gives a sweet and delicate taste.
