It’s a round section long shape with a diameter greater than that of ziti. The name derives from the smooth and cylindrical form of the candles. Very popular in Southern Italy, especially in Naples, where they cut them irregularly and cook them with a rich sauces such as bolognese. Our version bronze die version is particularly able to capture the sauce.
